Looks like numbers are slowly trickling in. I was hoping to have a good number so that we could voice our opinion and give support to one of the many groups which are supporting this cause, as the voice of IAN. Anyway.....we'll wait and watch.

Saw an apology in today's paper by the prime minister for the attacks. It took weeks for the seriousness to be known in delhi. An apology is needed for the aftermath and not the actual occurence. India has a vast coastline. A direct attack of this sort is to an extent beyond control. It would not be practical to have commandos guarding the taj and every other building 24/7. We understand that. But the aftermath, the lethargy, delay and the 'attitude ' is what is annoying. The attitude of the polticians is what we need an apology for. Not just the ruling party. All of them.

The human chain is gaining momentum. Just saw the turnout in front of NGMA. The stress should be on the word performance and not peace.

there are definitely groups who benefit or become stronger as the gap widens between India and Pakistan . There we have to search for the reason why. These attacks will never be over but a force in the other direction, towards peace, might lead us away from another stupid war. Im SO glad Obama is there and not the usual ones. In the 60 we had "ban the bomb" now its easier: BAN HATRED

Apathy is the name of the game. It seems like only now are citizens awakening to react. And I only hope now the government will be forced to change. ..
