Zodiac (Raasi)Painting Exibition by M.Lokeswara Rao I.F.S at Gallery Rasa, Bangalore from 4 June 2011(11.AM Inagural)to 8^th June 2011

 

The Exhibition Zodiac(Rasi)painting by Sri M.Lokeswara Rao  is organized in Gallery Rasa situated in Chamarajpet, Bangalore will be shown  for five days from4th June 2011 (11. AM inauguration)to 8^th June 2011, The exhibition will be inaugurated by Sri Krishnarasad, Art consultant, Art entrepreneur Art.

 

Astrology, is gaining a rapid appreciation in these days all over the world. Want to check out, just go up to your nearby book store, or visit the cyber cafe adjacent to your house, you will find everybody, people of all ages digging the sites and pages of astrology and occult Most people, even the 10 year old school-goers, knows which sign of the zodiac they were 'born under' and they will be occasionally seen to glance at the astrology sections and columns of newspapers and magazines

 

The constant searching of self in the characteristics of each sign of the zodiac inspired the artist in me to paint 26Zodiac painting series out of 26, 12are Zodiac signs and 12areZodiac constellations and 2 paintings are  general zodiac,  The painting are made with in bold, vibrant colors which is his style.

 

M.Lokeswara Rao,I.F.S a civil servant and self taught artist has taken painting as profession and  has done Zodiac series of paintings in mixed media using acrylic media jaipur stones and permanent markers on archival imported  paper His Expressionist style is characters by vibrant colors and bold lines I believe Zodiac  (Raasi) signs and Zodiac constellation series of paintings will be a source of joy for those who possess them. Sometimes certain talents can never be taught. It’s an inborn trait some individuals are blessed with.

 

Ever since M.Lokeswara Rao was a little child he had this different inclination towards drawing & sketching. He always had a different way to look into things with an altered perspective with a different perceptive ability. Imagination has no barrier. It is stronger than anything known to man, faster than the speed of light, deeper than the ocean of thoughts. It is the seed for the basic intellect of creativity & innovation. The displayed works are just some mere examples of reinvention of creative bliss. Every work has a deep thought & meaning supporting its visual description. He has done many contemporary style

 

He  is also practicing this ancient art Tanjore paintings for the past several years and contemporary art and digital paintings and he uses poster colors, acrylic and mixedtimedia to do his paintings and do painting on paper and canvas.
He has done the big Tanjore painting Butter Krishna and Lakshmi sitting on lotus, other paintings in different sizes Unjal Krishna, Radha Krishna, Yashoda giving fruits to Krishna, Swing Krishna, Leaf Krishna Bhgavad Geeta, Krishna Geethopadesa. Saibaba, 4x3 feet Balaji and 4x3feet Ganesha etc.
